34 वर्षीय ज्योति मल्होत्रा के मोबाइल फोन की गहन जांच के बाद पता चला कि वह पाकिस्तान यात्रा के दौरान एक ISI ऑपरेटिव के साथ न केवल संपर्क में थी, बल्कि संबंधों में भी थी। उसने व्हाट्सएप और टेलीग्राम जैसे ऐप्स से फर्जी नामों और नंबरों का इस्तेमाल कर गोपनीय जानकारी भेजी, जिनमें भारतीय सैन्य ठिकानों की डिटेल्स भी शामिल थीं।
